I am heading up to OR. Will see if I can make the move. Tired of entertainment law and Los Angeles.

Nice. I have family both in SC and Raleigh. Good areas. But if I am going to east coast again, I want to live with no income taxes

If one of this you refer to is me, nope. I'm at that other Y park. (Yes, that's what we call them!) ;)

Your husband isn't a really short, exceptionally violent red head, is he?

We could bid on housing in the park but we decided that since We have to see these people 8 hours a day, we don't want to see them 24/7.

And there's actually three grandfathered communities IN Yose. Privately held homes. Crazy 'spensive too!

I thought about that being a free and cheap fix. Might just do the clear as it's not really visible.
Sweeeeeeet!!!! Thank you! I didn't want to have to buy the clear or black stuff that would look nice and gaudy, lol.

The only residents in Yellowstone are employees - at Mammoth. I guess Grand Teton has a few now that I think about it. Their land is part of the valley addition and not the original mountain park boundary. Rockefeller didn't take all of the private land away in his frenzy to secretly expand the park, there were a few holdouts.

The Husband is an NPS employee here. After all the tourons and incompetent co workers, we just want to be away from the chaos.

But, on a better note, I did venture to the valley today.

Did you say "hi" to God while you were there? Because if I was a supreme deity, that's where'd I drop a hammock and chill.

I understand completely. I've thought about trying to work for the park or one of the nonprofit groups associated with but I don't know if I could handle the morons. Pretty sure I'd look like these little dudes everyday.... o_O :frusty:

Looks pretty there right now. If I ever get down that way you're my tour guide!

I thought about this very same issue when I first got my Muscle car. I had a clear-bra installed plus had them run a few panels along the lower sides, where debris/road particles would get flung against the side of the car by the monster size tires.

I had them run a piece of the 3M clear film along the edge of the door! Guy said he's never done that before. The strip is not even an inche wide, pretty much folded in half, so the outer most edge, right where your nick is, stays protected. Plus the strip barely shows, unless you're right up close.

Anyway, my garage is a tight squeeze with all my hubby's tools/junk. So when I park and open the drivers door it always touches the wood rack. So my husband placed a large piece of cardboard their to prevent any door dings.

I still think that 3M film helps because any spot that gets repeatedly rubbed will eventually get wear marks. I'll see if I can a pic of it later today.

Right now if I were you I'd get some touch up paint.
