    Hmm so maybe this is a dumb question but if I got the side mounted option, is the filling hole on the side of the container? So that means to free fill it I will have to turn the container on its side?

    Or any of them honestly, like option 3 or 4, I only see the spouts for the hose on the top or side, but the filler holes are on the sides for all of them?

    The top mounted hoses you can fill through the top but the side hose ones you can only fill through the side looking at the pictures

    If you are speaking about filling them the "normal" way with the supplied connector that goes to your water hose from your house or wherever then yes you fill it through the connection on the tank Top(for top mounted) and Side(for side mounted) but if you were in a remote location with no pressurized water source (hose from a spicket) then you would have to fill it from the side, even if it is a top mounted. The top mounted connector if you were to remove it has a "straw" that pulls the water from the bottom of the tank due to the pressure. Thats why there is the schrader valve on one side so you could fill from the side and theoritically use a bicycle pump to build pressure in the tank...but once again that is more of a last resort method.
