I am at 23K miles and had the truck since June '16 - so only about 5 months. I have put my truck through its paces from highway to high elevation while loaded to the brim with gear, tons of stop-go traffic in Phoenix heat every day, bunch of camping spots driving on washboard roads to bombing through the beaches of Mexico. Besides the minor shifting issue which was fixed my truck has been bulletproof. So, to the OP, sorry you have had bad luck. I would have them get me another.

Here is Prime just sitting at work in his daily drive form, just waiting for another adventure:

Mine is from March 16 with just 8k. I am lucky to have a short commute and have been waiting for my armor before any serious adventuring. I am pleased to hear yours is holding up through so many miles. I hope mine is the same. I haven't had anything but the transmission TSB and some minor cosmetic things fixed.

Is it possible for you to shoot me a picture of your service record for this? My truck has the same issue and they replaced the heat shield thinking it was that but now they tell me they dont know what it could be. I told them of your issue and they told me no.
