    The Haiku /Stairway to heaven has been closed since the late 80's early 90's due to disrepair and unsafe conditions . Just recently in the last few years a landslide destroyed a section of it . There is a petition to reopen it but as of right now if you're caught on this stairway you can be fined heavily

    Today was busy for a day off! Voted since i won't be in town, grocery shopped, fixed windows on the house ( the vinyl was lifting off the wood! ), fixed a rust spot on the subaru, started gathering a tool kit and necessities for my son's Rav4 ( we just picked that up, he's going to school full time and has a job to boot, so we're helping him out ), now we're sitting in the driveway by the campfire-in-a-can, staying warm and enjoying our Halloween.
