I just called a couple of local places to me and asked for a price. Of course they were more expensive because of where we live but they might be willing to do a package deal if we got a bunch of people to commit to having it done. I'll let you guys know

You get a good price locally and I'll check my frame but I might be persuaded to jump in. I'm pushing 80k miles with the Ferd, might be time to do something with the frame...

 

There was a guy in CT on TW, who did a fluid film mod day/meet at his house. Wasn't charging much at all per truck. I'll see if i can find him.

 

It was @surfandturf , and a few of us got together and did it. Cheap. A lot cheaper than what you guys are putting up here. I was part of the group.

Don't think I'm going to put the bumper support on below this. Mine was apparently in an accident and is dented. . .

Are you talking about the factory aluminum bumper support? I have one in my garage. I don't think the factory bumper is ever going back on mine.

 

I think my entire FF kit was $125 ish but I got the upgraded gun. the truck took just about the entire gallon. The Camry took a bout a third of a gallon. I took me a few hours to do it. I don't have a lift so I jacked up the truck. removed the wheels and plugs then sprayed. a lift would make it a lot easier. as if you didn't know that all ready.

 

Nah I decided to just leave it off. . If anything hits me this receiver will take the hit first anyways.

 

I wish they made something like this for the Ford. A company used to make a front receiver that came out similar to yours but they went out of business and I can't find a suitable replacement. The only ones I can find are really low, they hang down where the air dam is.

 

I love the concept - I wish more people made aftermarket front bumpers with front receivers because the hitch mounted winch is what I want to aim towards.
