    Hello Everyone,
Long time lurker, first time poster. New to TW, and new to owning a Tacoma. Picked up my 2017 TRD OR (fully loaded, of course) a couple weeks ago, and that thing is pretty sweet. Can't wait to get it dirty, and get the mods started.

Just picked up my 2017 Tacoma TRD Pro! Not my first new car (Bought an Accord last year) but my first truck and first Toyota. I got it fresh off the hauler with 3 miles on it!

Got it before the dealer had time to screw up the paint. Just got it back today from detail, had the c quartz coating put on. Raining today, nothing I could do about that.

Not happy about the price but very happy with the truck! Now... what to do next?

Just bought my 2016 TRD Sport yesterday. First new truck in 20 years. Picked it up with 3 miles on it. Drove it 100 miles today. Loving it.

Hello everyone, I'm the proud owner of a 2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road which is also my first brand new vehicle. It's already gotten the approval from our dog. Got a few mods on the way, running boards, bed steps & a hitch mount bike rack.

20161011_191441.jpg 20161011_191458.jpg Long time Toyota owner, first time Taco. 2017 SR5 4X4. Already pulled out the plastic bins behind the back seats and mounted some quick fists and a fat 50 ammo can. Also threw in a hardig case to keep some gear dry until I figure out what to do with it and it fits awesome. Already have a laundry list of mods to make. Might be time to pursue a second job.

I have a list I would like to do as well, but I already had the second job to pay for the truck... And I am learning parts are expensive to ship, why no Amazon Prime shipping on some rock sliders... lol

Just got my 17 TRD Pro home! Had a 2016 STi which was miserable to drive. Thought I'd get used to the roughness and noise. Definitely not. Couldn't be happier!

That's pretty funny because I had bought a 2013 WRX back in February and after 3-4 months was looking to get rid of it.

    Greeting All,

New to the forums, new to Toyotas.

Born and raised in the US, Living in Canada for work.

Jeep Convert Here. Life time Jeep owner ( CJ, TJ, JK, Grand Cherokees and Commander). Big time off-road enthusiast, overlander (Vehicle and Motorcycles). I'm dipping my toes into the Toyota pond for the first time.

I just picked up a 2006 Tacoma Double Cab Short Box, SR5, Manual, 4X4 with a ton of KM’’s [375,000KMS] for what I “think” is a fair price (here in Canada ~ EH).

This is my new toy, winter rat and soon to be [hopefully] Overlanding, do-all rig. Still have my Jeeps so we'll see how far I venture down this rabbit hole.

    Currently researching everything.

I've spent the last 48 hours reading tons of information here on TW. Already up to speed on so much.

Thanks everyone for investing your time into this community. It's already helped me a bunch!

Greetings all! Glad to be here, October 7th I took delivery of a 2017 Tacoma Limited, it is a cross of the cars I sold: a 2004 BMW 330Ci and my little 1987 Toyota Pickup. This is the second new vehicle I have ever purchased, the first was the 87 Pickup. I really like the way it ride and drives. I can actually see more being above some of the smaller cars out there. I hope it brings me many miles and years of good uneventful service like I am use to with Toyota.
Me, I am a Marine Corps Veteran and a retired Air Force Master Sargent still working for the Government with 35 years. Once this Tacoma is paid off I will retire and enjoy the fruits of all my labor. Not a real good picture, but ya'll know what they look like

Howdy from Arizona. Just got a 2006 Tacoma 4x4 TRD Off Road (165K mi) on Friday (11/4)...

And it's already in the shop! Yes, I skipped out on having my mechanic check it before buying it which I take full responsibility for. Came up on craigslist and I've been looking for months and my pre-approval for the loan was expiring the next day, blahblahblah.

Basically the front suspension was "upgraded" with some cheap chinese crap and was installed by drunken walruses because all of it has to come out and be replaced. The rest of the vehicle is sound albeit needing a transmission flush.

I already miss my "new" taco :'(

The upside: I was planning on doing plenty of upgrades anyways so although this is going to hit the wallet hard right off the bat, it's something I would be doing eventually anyways so I might as well jump in with both feet, right?

Anyways, thought I'd post up because I've already been using this forum as a source of knowledge.

Hey everyone, Fort Bragg, North Carolina here. Just bought my new TRD Sport, Inferno with Tow Package on Sunday. Loving it so far, still learning as much as I can between this forum and the owners manual. Already have plans on doing the grill mod that I found here (painting body color), paint and prep stuff should be here Monday. Looking forward to interacting with everyone and just having a good time on the forums. IMG_3362.jpg

Hey everyone! I just turned 16 a few months ago and bought a 2004 single cab Tacoma. Definitely not the most souped up truck but I'm in love with it. I plan on doing little mods and improvements to it. I don't have the best truck, but I love looking at other people's taco's. Go easy on me I'm a newby to this stuff!

Congrats Quinn on your first truck, you are just starting out so advice to you would be to get your truck up to good working order first before doing any mods then research it and make it yours, put your spin on it Good Luck and have fun with it!

Welcome to TW. Do you have pics of your 87 Pickup? I use to ride in the back of those trucks back in the day.

Welcome to TW. Take your time and mod the Taco into how you like it. I love looking at other Tacos as well. Gives me inspiration. Good luck.
