"Wheeler's Anonymous"

November 11th I've got off of work for a holiday. Who wants to wheel? I'm thinking maybe just a rowher/drinkwater day. Nothing to serious, just some fun before the Rock N Brews the following day. @Mike likes Tacos @eon_blue I know you two are right around the corner there

 

I think I get that day off too so I'm in. Hope it rains cause Rowher Flats is way more fun when it's slippery.

Just realized that it's a Friday. I may just have to take a sick day.

 

It's veterans day. Maybe you get it off?

 

I'm a maybe...my brother's wedding is the next day but it's out there about 10 miles from Rowher Flats lol. I'll be staying out there the whole weekend. Might be able to fit a run in during the morning, count me in as a maybe. Gotta figure out what the plans are for that day first but I should have the morning through early afternoon free.

 

Nope. We only get 7 holidays off.

I do have quite a few unused paid sick days though, hmmmm....

I have like 5 days of paid sick left and if I quit i get nothing for them and on days I am sick I just work from home anyway

 

I'll just have to be careful to remember not to post any wheeling pics to social media that day lol.

 

Ok fine you guys convinced me. I just have to make sure we don't have a big shoot planned that day or anything but count me as being 90% in

 

I absolutely love my truck... But you excellent assholes make me want to sell it and get a 4x4

I'm down for MJT again, but unfortunately I'm busy the next 2 Sundays...it would have to be the 19th or the 26th hopefully it's not closed by then

 

I'm pretty sure a locked 2wd with your suspension setup could do most of the Rowher Trail and Drinkwater, maybe one or two spots you'd need a tug but with a locker and 4x4's in tow I think it would be doable.

 

Looks like last year they closed it on Nov 24th.

 

You would have a blast at Rowher Flats. Locked 2wd with suspension and tires can make it thru almost everything there.

 

I like the sound of that! I'm good with needing to try a few times to get through something as long as there's someone around that can pull me out/through if I need a tug.
Is there any camping at Rowher or drinkwater? Leaving from SD would be a trek to come back the same day.
