2017 TRD Off Road 4x4 6 Spd Manual

Maybe, but just look at the 2nd gens, the manuals don't fetch any more than the autos, plus the 3rd gen auto gives you the dummy crawl control feature, people will always speculate. I'd still go manual if I was going OR DC.

 

I wonder if it's percentage based, manuals are less off the lot.

 

100% of 50% of this forum give 0% fuks about the precise depreciation of the vehicle they will take off road.

I just picked up a used 2016 TRD Off road DCSB 6 MT this month, and absolutely love it! Awesome truck!

 

We are legion! I just picked up a black '17 6MT 4x4 Off-Road on October 8th. I've only just got past the 1k break in but I'm really liking it so far.

 

Pshhh, what 1,000 mile break-in?!

 

The one in the Owner's Manual I think the nut of it is... don't tow, don't wail on it when it's cold and vary the RPMs. It didn't say anything at all about stuffing it full of lumber and going 80 down the interstate.

Nice truck. I'm looking at 2017 TRD off road, long bed, manual transmission, 4 door, premium tech package, no bed cover, 4x4, with tow package here in Bakersfield, CA.
What is a good price, how long will I be waiting, etc.?

Unfortunately that doesn't exist, they took away the Off Road, Access Cab, Manual and they have never offered a Long Bed Double Cab Manual

 

Couldn't buy one for any amount of money...DCLBMT does not exist...which sucks!

 

^^^^agreed, it sucks!! We should be able to get a manual in any configuration!!

 

Ugh. Going to put shell on it for dry camping and enjoy the double cab for additional gear within arms length.

I just bought my first Tacoma too and went with the 6MT. I test drove a lot of different ones and didn't like the automatic. I've had MT vehicles for most of my cars except my current one since it wasn't an option. Ready to get back to rowing my own and getting this one delivered. 2 weeks and it's in my garage.

 

Got my manual about 6months ago and a little over 7k on it now. I like it a little more every time I drive it! Congrats on the purchase
