Went back to the River trail to the trailhead where 2 stops are and lured them both. Got 73 Karp candies, a bunch of duck and a squirtle and the last dratini I needed

I also hatched another 10k egg. Onix

 

This whole week has been Onix HQ at my work, hard SOB's to catch, no evolves and useless at a gym. My lizard sidekick finally earned his keep so I let him out early for good behavior after giving me his big brother. I'm thinking this guy should be pretty good against palm trees. Now I'm working on some Victreebel candies while I've got the bonus.

 

I've got about 8km left to go with my 'mander before I'll have twin to your dragon...then I'm on to geodude.

I catch a lot of bellsprouts and oddish around my area. I've got 2 victreebells and 3 Vileplumes

 

Get them hatched before Tuesday so you get all of the double candies

 

For sure, going now to ride through downtown and stock up on items

Still got double candies this mornin. Did a mass evolve las night and added 11 new to the dex. Would have made it to lvl 21 but let 2 rats slip through i didnt know about, and evolved em this mornin and was 500 away, but as soon as i got to work i caught a couple and got there. Heres my leader board

 

I got the last Kabuto I needed yesterday for a kabutops and I also snagged the last Seel I needed too. I'll wait for my next mass evolve though...

You should get double candies all day. The event should go through 8pm EST...

I'm ready for it to be over (except the double candy part). If I never see a Ghastly, Meowth, Drowzee, or Cubone again it will be too soon. I want my pidgeys back

 

For real, that 12 candy evolve is the shiz

 

It would've been great if the pidgey were still as prominent as they were before this event. I only caught around 6 of them this whole week. I usually see 20+ a day and avoid them sometimes. Where is @Sandman614 at to f Niantic for me?

Yup looks to still be active. Just did a loop this morning with my dog trying to finish off my Geodude. Need to get another 2km and I will have enough for that Golem. I've ran out of balls again though, so many more pokies to catch during this event I haven't been able to keep my stock up like I usually do when I am just farming pidgeons

 

As of 10:30am PST I'm still getting candies like normal, but the spawns seem to be almost back to normal. I'm back to mostly pidgey, rats & diglets. I don't have any more Drowzee or Gastly on my radar, but still quite a bit of Meowths that were not around before. I'll run myself out of balls to take advantage of anything that pops up here at work!

 

Well candies are back to normal when catching and trading, my buddy still shows the good rate though. This is as of 1:20pm PST.

Edit: 1:40pm PST my buddy is back to needing 429 km's per candy

 

Yup. 4:00 EST is when it changed here. I had just swapped my buddy to Machop top. I now need 270km to have enough candy for an evolve . The good news is he is my last dex need aside from 4 that I will never catch and need to hatch (Lapras, Hitmonchan, Chansey, and a Porygon).

I saw a new thing Niantic is doing. Don't have the link handy, but it's a new daily bonus. Basically you just have to take play at least once a day and catch 1 'mon and spin 1 stop. The more days in a row you do it the bigger the bonus (XP and Dust). I think it started when the Halloween event stopped.

 

Nest change around 8pm EST tonight. Glad I went and got the last kabuto and Seel I needed the other day since they are gone now. No Machop nest reported yet so I'll keep walking. There is a squirtle nest near which is good since he's my favorite but I just evolved my blastoise after walking it for 172km

 

has the daily bonus update happened yet? I caught an abra and bulbasaur this morning and didn't get any extra xp or that I noticed anyway
