I wanted one to make parking the camper easier but now with the bigger camper, I'm not sure it'll help.

That looks pretty beefy. that should do much better than the aluminum square tube that it replaced. Plus it will put some nice holes in whatever you hit/hits you.

I specifically bought this because I need to park a 27ft trailer and boat in my backyard this winter. I can't make the cut around my driveway into my backyard very easily so having this will help a ton.

Plus it makes a nice bump stop for cars parking in front of me in boston.

Haha, I'm not looking forward to getting my camper out in the spring. It took me a 5 or 6 point turn to get the trailer jackknifed into the back corner of my yard. Hooking up the exact same way and doing the same maneuver in reverse ought to be fun...

Well depending on where you are in MA and if I'm still local and not overseas I can assist with my truck. The front receiver should make things a bit easier. . I hope haha

Thanks, I figured worst case I'd borrow my Dad's Tahoe to get it back out. That thing has a really short wheel base and turns the front wheels over harder than my Ford will. If push comes to shove, I might have to take you up on it if you're near by.

Sounds good - surprisingly my Mom's Envoy has a wicked tight turning radius. My evo on the other hand does a 5 point turn in any normal 3 point turn spot....

    Morning all
Forgot to zip tie one of the front fender liner holes and it rubbed a nice big hole through it last night and this morning on the highway. Noticed it when I opened my window to flip off a guy tailgating me haha.

A couple places around Everett looked like they would charge $200. Not great though. A group FF trip would be awesome.

Cold morning. Outdoor thermometer read 33 when I woke up. I need to get a thermometer for my truck.

Thought 2nd gens had the temp in the mirror?

FJ has it in the nifty little offroad gauge cluster:p

X2. Why doesn't your truck have a temp gauge?

Well I don't have the readout in the overhead console, and not in my mirror either. I've got the backup cam in my mirror though. Maybe its not the stock mirror? Unclear.

My old 07 TRD had a compass in the mirror I think. Maybe it was a thermometer. Either way this one has nothing.
