I'll be doing new tires around mid Feb when my 2016 job bonus check shows up. I'm at 33,000+ on the current Duratracs. Plan is to take them off while there's something left to sell.....Don't want to run 'em until the cord shows....

I MAY get another set of Duratracs. (265/75/16 load range C) They're wearing great, ride great, and they do pretty dang good off road. ZERO complaints. And there's that gas mileage thing!
I MAY be going to 255/85/16 KM2's. Like the look, and they don't rub anywhere on a truck I'm familiar with set up IDENTICAL to mine. Duratracs not offered in this size.
I MAY go 285/75/16's, any one of several brands. Duratrac 285's are physically bigger than just about any 285 on the market....and they rub big time without massive :sawzall:
I like the look of bigger tires. But I DON'T like some of the things that come with 'em. The 265's get me through everything I've tried so far. I like being "streetable". There's still the consideration that I do quite a bit of off roading, and don't want to give up anything there.

Got a feeling it'll come down to a coin toss at some point.

Yep....I'm always doing the same thing....Trying to put a positive spin on being old(er). Sometimes we just have to wear it like a badge of honor and go on with life!

    All this tire talk...

I've still got a BRAND NEW 265/70/17 Goodyear Duratrac looking for a new home. Was only mounted as a spare and never saw pavement (or dirt). Guy I swapped tires with didn't want the 5th.

I'm tired of moving the damn thing around...I'm at the point now that I may just hang it on the wall in the garage. :censored:

    What area?

I've been blessed to have good hearing at my age. Even having been in music all my life, I'm with you on that one. I still like to bump it up now and then when a good old school tune comes on. I have most of an audio system in the closest, but still debating on installing it.

Speaking of music, I met a 42 yeay old work buddy in town, and I pulled up next to him jamming some Aerosmith. He later told the guys at work he hopes he feels as good I I do when he's my age. Then he said, he'll I wish I felt that good now.

I've got a drive line vibe I haven't figure out nor have the time to. I'm hoping it's not my new rear diff. Hopefully anything but that. Probably u joint or rear bearing. It doesn't feel far enough forward for CB.

I wish but not easily doable on my truck. I guess we'll get my wife a new vehicle next while I save up for my retirement truck.

I may look at into a one piece if it is. There's a grumpy old guy here that's supposed to be really good.
