Any good DIY options as I'm not looking to drop a grand or more on front and rear bumpers.

There are fab shops that sell DIY kits. @RelentlessFab sells some on the website.

Relentless Armored! Too many others to list.
No longer offering them regularly. Only 1-2 times a year in a GB as of last month.

Probably. The Hella lights are pretty thick, so I don't think it'd work without either putting them behind the grill or getting a new bumper.

I feel like you could probably squeeze a pair behind the grille, I haven't looked at mine personally to see if they fit though. Before I made a cheap mount that went through the grille and it did decent enough until I got a bumper

You may be able to, but why would you lol? The grille would be blocking half the light. I had a satoshi grille on my last truck with the Hellas behind it and it was fine, but I don't think it'd be any good with the stock grille.

Yeah you def need a different grill if you run it behind. Also some companies sell bars that you can mount on that aren't bumpers but you are basically paying half as much as a bumper would cost anyway.
