Just finished dipping, matte black, my new TRD Pro Grille. I'll let it dry overnight and then tomorrow do a couple coats of Dark Gray dip on the Toyota letters.

    I'll post a pic when it's done.

Didn't like how shiny it looks, going for a more matte look.

Got about 7-8 coats on it now.

    New and then Dipped.

Not very good lighting, sorry, I'll get a better pic tomorrow after I do the letters

Ok, did the "TOYOTA" letters today, in a Dark Gray. Came out really nice, not too bright, a more calm and subtle look. No more shiny black.

I'll let cure a couple days then I'll wipe it down, several coats, of an aftercare spray. Got it from dipyourcar, suppose to make it smoother and give an extra layer of protection.

Took me long enough to find someone who did this the way Im planning to so I could get the look before I started. Thanks, I shall now proceed doing it leaving the horizontal bars and the entire center piece. Looks great.

I wish! Truck was built last week. ETA is 3rd week of November. I've got a humongous pile of "stuff" ready to go! Just need the darn truck.

Will immediately wash/clay/seal/wax, Plasti-dip all the badges, fender flares, and front valance. Plus add all my accessories!

Going to derp my winter wheels black. They are stock sport 17s that have a lot of peeling. I wire brushed any scale and loose stuff and will clean with alcohol prior to spraying. They are not on the truck at present. I plan to tire shine the rubber instead of taping it off. Like Fonzi does on DYC. Should I spray center caps separately then tap in when I put wheels on? Or spray all at once with them in the rim? Will the plasti dip stick to the bare alloy where I wire brushed?

I like how you covered that yellow headlight piece... does anyone make a clear corner for the 3rd gen Tacomas to get rid of the little yellow in the corner of the headlights?

    It's holding up great!

Plasti dip is awesome! I did my 2013 fx4 rims and emblems and they lasted all 3 years of that lease perfectly! No chips or rips.

I used 7 coats total. First coat was pretty light, then gradually got heavier. By the 4th coat I was doing full coats.

Hope that helps. Also I didn't remove them I just taped around.

Thanks I'll for sure give it a look! I hate those little yellow pieces on the corner of the headlight, So annoying.
