I hope that's a skid plate set up under there. They have been talking about a full third gen protection package for over a year....

Are you running those new 8000 series shocks?

 

Yes, the new B8 8112 ZoneControl CR coilovers in front and B8 8100 Bypass in the rear! I drove it from San Diego to Las Vegas off-road and showed up at the SEMA show dirty!

 

Sorry I said 9000, I forgot they already made those. Are you on stock LCAs? How did they perform? Were you one of the guys in those videos they were making each day?

Any idea of pricing and release on the 8000 series?

 

I heard "similar to BP-51 pricing", so expect ~$2,000 for front and rear coilovers and shocks alone, with no springs for the rear.

I'm more interested to hear the collapsed and extended lengths for the rear shocks.

You mind commenting on what was done with the rear of your setup? Stock springs? I'd really love to see a rear 8000 series that fits like the 5100 B110s do with aftermarket springs like OME dakars or All Pro standards.

Rear has a full Deaver mid-travel pack. Front has Camburg uni-ball upper control arms.

I can't find the post from earlier, but I saw you posted the part numbers for the rear shocks on the Tacoma facebook page. Would you mind posting that so we can take a look?

 

Stock lower control arms, Camburg uni-ball upper control arms. Everything performed great, no issues whatsoever!

Ya I was the second Tacoma in video, I took the truck from San Diego to Las Vegas all off-road!
