    Some people like the attention
and want to post about their 10 month wait for their "PRO"
when there is 5 for sale next to them
So they have something to talk about

If we were to only be relegated to have ONE vehicle, might as well kill myself.

TRD Pro would be my last choice, for ONLY vehicle.

US seems a little easier. Up here there's only 200 being released for the whole country over the next year and most dealers have wait lists. I got lucky on a cancellation.

My personal opinion. people who are waiting for their dealer to get an allocation are either on the fence or really don't want one. (Neighbors up north excluded) I knew I wanted one and found one within a week . there's no reason to be on a waiting list.

my dealer got 2 pro's in 2 months, neither ordered, both last a few days,,, drove mine off the show room floor, but i was in contact with a saleman prior to it getting there,, it got there, he contacted me and said i better come get or it would be gone,,, 3 days later it was still there, i went and bought it... i think this dealer sells a tacoma every couple days..

Cancelled my order at one of the local dealers because they had no idea when a truck would be allocated after they told me a different story to get me to order. Drove up to Washington on Sunday and picked up a White M/T. White was my third choice of the colors but the M/T was more important to me than the color. The Stormtrooper look is growing on me. Toyota of Puyallup was awesome to deal with, probably easiest car buying experience I have had. Got it for $300 under MSRP.

I'm glad you put that caveat in there, because AFAIK there are none currently available in Canada. To make matters worse, I only want a MT. If I have to take a AT, I may get the 4R TRD Pro instead.

I'm giving my car broker until the end of the week to lock something down for that, but after that I will be getting creative.

Haha...someone needs to make a TRD Pro - Stormtrooper Edition decal.

White is my first choice, followed closely by Cement. I really like the red too, but it isn't for me.

White was my first choice as well but without any clear time-frame I just went with Cement. I like all 3 colours so it wasn't a massive deal breaker.

Would take Cement in a heartbeat too, just as long as it was MT.

If you (or any fellow Canucks) catch wind of any new availability, please send me a PM. Thx!

    None...yet.
Just picked mine up a few hours ago. Woot!!! MSRP. There was a rail delivery to Maryland yesterday and they hit the dealers today. I know of at least one other sitting on a lot at Sloan Toyota in Philly (at least it was there as of about 5PM today), white auto. I was talking with Eugene, but ended up going with one a little closer to me.

I've been a Jeep guy for the last 10 years and still have my Cherokee with a six inch lift sitting in the driveway. I had to agree to sell it to get the Taco. Run it on black trails at Rausch Creek Off Road Park in Pa. With the stock TRD Pro, I'll have to drop back to greens and an occasional blue. Anyone know somewhere in the PA/NJ/NY/DE/MD area to really put the TRD Pro through its paces? Something bumpy and fast. :bikewhoops:

Did you buy yours from Team Toyota in PA by any chance?
I had my eye on that one and they told me it was sold and the buyer that was getting it Tuesday night. I am heading to a Philadelphia Wednesday morning to pick up the white TRD Pro that you saw at Sloan! Wish me luck they don't sell it before I get there. I don't care for the Preditor step rails and they said they won't remove them. I would figure they could install them on another truck on their lot and save me $659 off the MSRP. Enjoy your truck and I'll post mine after I take delivery of it!

Don't let them butcher the front end by putting on the front license plate bracket .. I have seen a lot of Pro's that have them on and required by state law or not I refuse to have one on any of my vehicles! I specifically told my sales guy not to have the front bracket installed when truck came in.
