would painting the rims be doable in a day, as in paint, then drive 175miles back to san antonio or do they need more time to dry?

You really don't need to buy anything for the fog light mod, you just need a short peice of wire & a quick splice, I have all of that laying around. Welcome aboard, I'll pm you my address.

edit: I think my shop heater will make short work out of drying that paint.

I may not be able to make it guys. I made a low ball offer on this house my fiance and I really like, thinking there would be no way the bank would accept it, but low and behold they did. I have to get an inspection done in 7 days and Saturday is the best option. If things change I will let you know.

Latest head count minus Tomonian77 is 12 confirmed & a couple of maybe's.

I think that we should keep this at my place because we are expecting so many people, I would hate for this to get out of control at Keith's place of employment. Lots of chance for something to go wrong. I do think that we have one project that we should def. do at his shop though on the lift. Not sure how to work that out yet.

What do we want to do about the camping? While I did talk to Steve about BVORR, it is on the opposite end of town & If people are going to be drinking then it is prob. a bad idea for them to be driving rigth thought the heart of town at the end of the day. Not sure if it will be a popular idea, but I could light the fire bowl & we could set several tents up in my back yard, no driving required. I have lived at this house for several years now & my neighbors are "seasoned" to my shenanigans, that won't be a problem. I also have a couch & a futon for a couple of people to sleep inside. I have made arrangements for the kids to spend Saturday night with family & I'm pretty sure that the wife will be bugging out as well.
