The GY AT Kevlars are still holding up at 10k miles ;). Probably another 40k miles or 4 years till I can get my KO2s and a flat billed hat. Think there will be any other 63 yo bros out there?

Yeah, I'll probably just keep with the OK redneck camo look. That way I blend in when scouting out new fishing holes in the sticks. Started hearing banjo music and turned around last Friday

Spent the morning installing total chaos UCA's and king coil-overs, and I can definitely notice a great improvement. Took off the sway bar, also, and I like it better. Doesn't rock too badly on-road, and flex is much better off-road. Going to try to get an alignment tomorrow, and start putting highway miles on it

How difficult was it? Did you have to remove anything that went back? I think I read ball joint removal made it easier to install.

The only parts that slowed my down, were getting the stock UCA ball joint bolt, out of the spindle(had to use a puller) and adjusting the first coil over, once I already had it installed(it's way easier to adjust it in a vice, per instructions:anonymous:. But other that that, everything went smoothly! The new UCA was really easy to install. The only parts that I had to re-use were the bolt for the LCA shock mount, and the long UCA bolt. And none of the other original parts were damaged from removal, either. I'm sure it would go faster with an extra set of hands, but by myself and with the proper tools, it took about 6ish hours(including beer breaks:cheers:)

Awesome! Now you also have the pride in doing it yourself and the satisfaction driving it with bragging rights that go along for the ride. Looks great BTW. I'm still on the fence, but after seeing your set-up, getting closer to the trigger.

Thanks! I'm definitely happy with it. I'll put my bigger tires back on, when I get a chance to do some wheeling, and see if I have anymore rubbing. I don't know what kind of shocks you were considering, but I was on the fence for a while. I'm still curious about how the icons would ride, but I went with king because I thought they might stand up to more abuse from hauling and what not:notsure:

One of the guys around here went with Kings as well, he likes them and recommended a shop close to our home. Lots of talk on here about Icons. I hear you, wish I could put both on and make up my mind for myself, but that's not going to happen. I'd probably do it myself anyway, tend to do work on truck outside of shops unless I have too, or paid up front (2 years service included). It's the gratification knowing that you did it and can share with others.

I know what you mean! I don't like the idea of paying for someone else to do something that I'm capable of doing myself...plus I don't always trust the people working on my vehicle lol. I've had a couple of bad experiences, in the past
