My rears are stock fj hubs with 5/8 studs but they came installed.

 

Semi float axles?

Using FJ parts to keep the abs tone ring?

The rear axle flange might be a little bit larger diameter so drilling the 43/64 hole need to press the studs in would be ok. I don't know the specs on the 2nd gen front hub flange. I would ASSume you could do it.

 

I was out there. Saw your truck and recognized it, but don't know you. There was a ton of tacomas out there.

 

URD y pipe and bora 1.75 wheel spacers on there way .. now to figure out what else i need..

 

Ordered myself some BORA 1.5" myself yesterday

 

i was debating on the 1.5 or 2" since i have the dtf kit.. so i settled for the middle at 1.75... they rob on shipping though lol

 

Who did you order through?

Yea i have the TC kit and just measured the track width. Did it myself with a crappy tape measure but I guessed the best I could. Ha

I have dana 44 front hubs lol so Dont ASSume too much hahaha

I dont remember what Drill bit we got at the shop to drill the hubs or the rims lol sorry.

8 bucks a piece!? Lol. My rear axle has 5/8 studs and my front has the oem hubs for my cv axles, just want to run all the same lugs and studs, just not for 8 bucks a lug, I ain't drivin a racecar with a million ponies

 

I got them a little cheaper. But it took forever because their machinist was behind...

 

Also if you can find anybody else or any other way to get a socket in the rim with out machining please tell us lol the matching of 6 rims was gonna be double the cost of those nuts.

 

All you guys and your fancy 5/8" studs, I race my truck with the stock 12mm studs on the front that are 23 years old haha

 

I drilled some D44 for 5/8 and used a 43/64 drill bit to have the proper knurl engagement.

There are cheaper 5/8 studs out there but the wheel machining will kill the deal $wise. Better to buy new semi float shafts for 12MM studs to match the fronts.

 

I had broken a couple of the stock studs so I matched all the the 5/8 studs.

Ah now that makes sense, I could counterbore the wheels myself I guess(benifit of having a milling machine) or just get half those fancy lug nuts for now
