Night 1 of 5 in 30 minutes

 

i fell for ya, tonight and tomorrow

 

it's comin' right for us!

about to head in for hump day

 

exactly. i have to take a test at midnight, lucky for me it is open book

 

what do they test you on during this shift?

 

DCI recert. they have instructors that also work nights so we dont have to come in on our days off

at least they're nice enough to do it. I bet there's departments that wouldn't.

 

I'm back on for the night. It's about 99% official I'm going to days once they hire a new person. I haven't been told myself, but the grapevine has spoken of the chatter. I guess they're waiting for our staff meeting.
Still stuck on midnight for at least another month or two. I don't understand how it's so hard to hire for a midrange security gig.

 

i've got 8more night shifts then back to 0600-1400 for 8 weeks

 

I'd love transiting jobs for the change up.
Once I go to days it's permanent. I'll be going 7-3pm thurs--mon

 

nice. i always have sat+sun off with this job, sometimes friday too. Has its pros and cons

I'd work any shift if I could ever have that. Unless I want to work this unfulfilling job for a decade it won't happen. Just got to do my time and move on to a job where I'd be fine working weekends for life, lol.

 

yes long weekends are nice

 

1.5 miserable hours to go.

 

easy night here. been catching up on all the champions league football today, lotta good games & i only watched one game today real-time. three hours to go!

just thought about it...DST is sunday night, meaning i'm working an extra hour next week

 

same here, only have had one call, and it was just a locked out kid, haha.

I've got 2 and a half to go.... is it over yet?
