Tempting. I'd like to remain some level of reliability though.

If someone could also take a pic of the space between the intercooler and grill piece, it would help me determine if I can still run my URD TCAI which was rerouted directly behind the grill. It will prob take minor modificaiton of the grill maybe, but just want to make sure I can still use it, or find a way to make it work (I dont wonna go back to my stock intake haha)

EDIT: i did talk to Gadget on the phone and he *thinks* it will fit with minor modding..but if someone has the here/now SC installed I would be able to tell from pics

Perhaps someone will, but from all accounts, the installation of the Magnuson s/c is quite literally identical to the now-discontinued TRD s/c.

Good options, especially the Honda emblem.

You have provided some great information and detail with the fuel pump swap...

Does anyone plan on doing some preventative maintenance while under the hood? I'm thinking of replacing the water pump... supposedly it's one of the first things to fail on the 4.0 motors. I've got 50k on the clock so I'm not sure if it's worth it to do it now or not.

family...schmamily....can you drive grass and a fence?....I think not! ;)

Probably makes sense to have extra cash on hand, but that's what that Fall Prinsu Group Buy is all about.

Talk to @TIM.TRDSparks He has said earlier in the thread that he will still make a really good deal for anyone still interested. Send him a message and see what he can do.

If you need the water pump, now will be a good time to do it because you'll have the viscous fan off and coolant drained. A few more bolts and the pump is off, too.

Count me out. I don't want to redline before pushing in the clutch.

I'm not scared. If there are any issues, I have other vehicles I can drive while any kinks are worked out.

Besides this is all heresay at this point. A guy on a forum said he heard from a another guy that works a gauge booth at a trade show that there MAY be a glitch in another company's tuning software. That's a long string to follow.

I'd like to hear directly from the owner of the truck that has that issue. How many miles does the truck have, what other mods it has, who did the install, what part of the country does he live in, what sort of maintenance schedule has been followed on the truck?

How many owners has this affected? If it is widespread, that is one thing. If it is just one guy, that's another.

Oh I agree for sure. I am planning on doing the BD tune and don't have any worries about it. I was just indicating that being a manual transmission, I don't think I have to worry about where my shift points are done, since I am doing them :)

I misread what you wrote, I was also going to say that with a manual that issue isn't likely to affect you.

From what I've read theres a stock shift point tune and a performance shift point tune. I was planning on sticking with the stock shift point tune anyway.

Size reference on the Cobalt supercharger emblem. I think I'm going with this.

I was trying to imagine the dimensions, thanks for that. I thought about one, but will probably just pass. I'm debadged (including the TRD decals on the bedsides), so it would look strange only having one thing on the truck.
