My house is going to close on the 22nd so I can finally got out and get the new taco.

I'm going to get the fn fx pro wheels and run 265/70/17s. Since i can run these stock, I don't really need much lift.

What's the best option for a super plush, smooth ride with about an inch of lift? I want to be able to bomb over frost heaves and have it feel like driving over an acorn. From looking at like the icon/fox/king level, it seems like they are all big lifts to get the ride quality

Couple grand... But with the small lift amout, I won't need control arms. So I think that should cover most options?

    Key info.

Icon/Fox/King are all coilovers that are adjustable from 0-2.5ish inches. If you want something solid and good for the long run then go with one of those coils! Icon will feel similar to the stiffer stock suspension while King and fox are more of a plush ride. All three work great, just depends on your riding preferences. As for the rear. You could always get a new leaf pack that has about an inch more of height. I would recommend getting someone's old Baja Leafs as they are about 3/4-1 inch higher in height.

Best Option? King. Buy once, cry once

Had the same question you did for 1st Gen and these are awesome. I am certain your newer 3rd Gen would look/drive even better. I am very impressed with the quality, customer service, and the performance coming out of BMWs and Audis (all modded), these were unexpectedly fantastic. Ride is firm but not hard on the road but off-road, they really shine. You will not be disappointed.

Kings coil overs in the front, ICON Progressive AALs in the rear with Bilstein shocks. Great combo.

Good Luck with your decision and post pics when installed. Congrats on your home purchase as well.

Yep. Search King or ICON on here and you will find numerous stories of guys moving up from Billies (which are great by the way, I have them on the rear). If you have the budget, its not much more to go first class the first time.

    Just one man's opinion.
