So I understand the C rating on the light truck tire, but what is the T on the first tire? Speed? And what seems odd is that the LT tire has a lesser load index than the T tire, 2271 lbs vs. 2756, at least according to the info I'm looking at. Thanks for any help!

Just to clarify, these are actually two different tires listed on sears.com, the only place around here that seems to carry Cooper Discoverer A/T3's. I'm just trying to make sure I'm getting the right tire for my new OR, which isn't due for at least another two weeks. The wait is driving me nuts!

Personally for offroad use - I'd go with the LT tire. It does have a higher load rating and more plys and deeper tread than the non-LT rated tire.

That's what confused me--the info I'm looking at says that the first tire, the non-LT tire, has the higher load rating.
