I didn't know I could do that. Can I can still mount my spare w/o the bracket?

    improved toyota goodness.
I just bent mine to fit my larger spare. it takes 5 min with a cheap set of vice grips or a piece of pipe... I wasn't careful though and ended up bending the ones closer to the axel too much.
in 4wd backing up a steep hill I traverse frequently it would contact my E-brake cable under load and push on it hard enough to engage the pads partly-making a horrible screaming groan/grinding racket.
for a fix I bent the ones by the axel back to normal and the ones to the rear almost straight out. 5 min or less and not hard although I suppose you could just cut the rear ones off...

However in the DC driving now with 55K I'm going to stick to OEM at the 60K mark. ( my brain got concussion so sorry I forget about..:burp: and spelling)

    Stuff and junk and things...

I did it on my Xtra cab, Bought a Dcab to swap to my frame so I get to do it again, I could probably knock it out totally in 2 easy days this time. It wasn't that bad of a job for me at least. I got to replace the inner fender aprons anyway so I will be cutting and welding right there.

Towed my welding trailer (in progress) to the new house and stopped to see how it would flex.
Trailer didn't flex worth a hoot but I did get my truck to pretty much flex out without tire lift.
ATV weighs about 400 and the tongue weight on the trailer was probably close to 300.

    image.jpg
Tires didn't seem to care for the combo of weight and side load, tire pressure is 30 psi.

Looks like a lot of people perfer valvoline ATF on here. Was thinking about using either redline or castrol ATF.

would anyone have any use for my bed? its buckled on the drivers side and on the inside near the tailgate. Wouldn't include the tailgate or gas door or anything like that. I'm thinking someone could use the passenger bedside or pieces of the bottom of the bed or something, just debating scrapping it, don't wanna be wasteful. Ill get a decent picture tomorrow if anyone wants it...

I'm on Valvoline now...my tranny has never shifted smoother. I also used it to flush the power steering.

It looks like the deckplate mod. Some say it gives more HP, a similar mod to the K&N. You also get a little more sound when you put your foot in it.
