2016 Tacoma V6 shifting complaints

    Go to the dealer and ask for the T-SB-0077-16 - ECM Calibration: Shift Feeling Enhancements it will help with the shifting, I have a SR5 Dcab 4X4 V6 A/T and it help a lot but i am not 100% satisfied i will hold the vehicle for some time maybe TOYOTA will come with a better programming, to me is a shame that Toyota USA keeps making and selling cars and trucks with such defects. it also happens to me with my wife 07 Camry LE 2.4 it took two years for Toyota to come on with a fix. Good luck

    all tore up already
    tsb resets memory on your tcm. it will take time to "relearn" shift points afterwards. or you can go MT and shift when you want, not when the vehicle feels like it:burnrubber:
