How much wind noise are you experiencing at highway speeds?

Little to none. Not even enough to think about if you're not thinking about it.

On that note, it's my opinion that the wind strip at the bottom of the deflector is a player in reducing noise. It actually touches my truck and creates that barrier.

I was one who could not install and use the regular bars in the last slot.

FINALLY received my 1" crossbar for the rear fin area.
Much much better solution. Thanks Zach.

Hope you got the extra 1" crossbar for the back. See the post right above yours. It wouldn't hurt to get the rubber gasket for the wind deflector either, wish I had done it, but I'll probably get all the things when I order a few other goodies from Zack.

Wow Zack's really cranking them out! I should've waited for the group buy o_O, it took 3 weeks for my rack. But I'm glad I got it when I did. I've noticed a slight whine when the radio isn't on, since I have factory tires right now. This might change when I get my Winter shoes.

Looking for suggestions on case to mount on the rack when I get it. Think I've decided on a pelican, can't decide on color, black, grey or tan. For those running them, does the black get too hot out in the sun?

Which Plano? My luck with their gun cases has been spotty in the past but that was their cheaper models

I'm not running one, but I talked with them at a Big Bear meet and they confirmed it will fit. At that time, last month, they said they had 1 single row 40" left. I'm certain they have more by now. Cheers.

Only seeing the double row 5D on their site. I may hit them up to see if they still offer the single row. Think the single would look better with the Prinsu cutout.
