I don't miss power seats though. Much faster to move a manual seat if necessary. I also don't have any problems reaching the pedals lol

Power seats with the memory would be nice since the wife and I switch off cars so much going to the gym at night so we don't have to take the giblets out of carseats.

I'm 5'7 with a 29 inch inseam, lol. Being able to move the pedals closer is really handy for me so I don't have to sit right on top of the steering wheel to reach them, haha!

Not sure if I already asked you but what do you use for CAD software. At work I have thinkdesign and at home I may or may not have solidworks. Pic is one of my current projects.

I'm almost the same height / inseam and also find the adjustable pedals neat. I don't adjust them based on my footwear though, I've found a happy medium and just leave my settings alone.

Not even kidding that is too much. It almost sounds like the seats in the old Oldsmobile 98 Touring Sedans when I worked at the dealership

    upload_2016-11-2_16-12-44.jpg

Wow, I knew the seats in this thing were ridiculous but after looking it up they I see they were developed by Lear Siegler. As in Lear jets.

Let me see if I can remember all the different ways those seats could move. Everything was by power of course. Front and back, up and down but separate front and rear of the seat up and down, recline, lumbar, power side bolsters, power extending thigh support pad (I'm not sure what it is called) and last I can remember it had power headrests that went back and forth.

    Pic

Good thing it had memory seats if anybody ever messed it up on you, you would never be able to get them back to where you wanted them!

lol. I've got power up & down, forward & back, seat tilt, and lumbar. I adjust my headrests forward & back and up & down, but they're manual. Same for the seatback; the tilt is manual. Seat bolsters are fixed because they're full of airbags :notsure:

My summer boots have mostly worn-out soles that were pretty thin to begin with, they're just a nice lightweight boot. The winter boots have a thick outer sole with very deep tread, so they're probably an inch taller. So I just bump the pedals back a little bit to keep myself from stomping on the gas/brake until I get used to the different shoes.

Thanks, I was going to stop and grab a hole saw for it on my way home tonight, I suppose I'll just measure first and get the right one.

Yeah do that. I was actually not pleased with how tight it was after installing it so I went down to my local hardware store and bought a rubber coupler that fit around the back of it and after installing it I put the coupler and a hose clamp on it and it's nice and tight now. Been like that for probably 5 years or more
