    Yes use a handful zip ties, its all you need. When puling the taillight pull directly out in the direction of the rear of the truck

    yeah I screwed up and was in a hurry...ordered 1/4" ID...holy crap that was difficult!! Worked in a pinch though thanks to @dylmatik

    Rockford Fosgate all around AllPro Differential/Exhaust Skid AllPro Apex Sliders
    Did my rear breather relocation. Put it up in the taillight. I bought 10' of fuel line, thinking I wanted some spare, and used every bit of it, but I did put in extra in case I want to lift her. Took under an hour even with all the hemming and hawing and overthinking everything.

    I ran mine from the axle to the frame out a hole and on top of the fender piece. The hardest part was finding something long enough to thread that tube up there. Quick and easy!

    Looks like a smart modification. I wonder if the part number listed by several guys as a "breather plug" is just the same type that was on these differentials to begin with? Watching some 4x4 youtube videos led me to believe with rapid cooling of the differentials such as going through water the pressure in the differential may try to suck air in, but the stock breathers wouldn't allow this. As a result the axle seas may be compromised - letting air (water if underwater) in the axle/ differentials. I see aftermarket kits with simple breathers (not one way valves) that seem like a better option - or the uni "motorcycle" style breathers others have posted. I go to the dealer to look at the parts today. If it's a one way valve I will just get a uni breather filter.

    OEM SS tube steps, Access LE tonneau cover, pop n'lock, AVS in-channel vent visors, stubby antenna, Wet Okole seat covers, bed mat, rear diff breather mod, 4 extra d rings in bed, K&N air filter.
    The type on the truck is a one way valve. The replacement is a true breather that let's air in and out, so you don't have the issue with sucking water in
