Need a guide? I'll come up and show you around. I have close to 50 miles of the official trails and some no so official but were told to me by the rangers that as long as loggers weren't on them that day we could hit them up roads.

I never got a chance to call the ranger office today. I will call tomorrow because I want to head up there veterans day. Weekend.

Anyone that is interested in coming along is more than welcome BUT the spot I'm camping at on the ridge only has enough room for one truck to park level. Other trucks can park on the road or there is room for tents and hammocks up in the site itself. Just a heads up.

I'd come camp but all my camping stuff got stolen when my window was busted. I'd be cool with doing a trip out there this weekend or whenever, given i'm free.

If it's open I'll be riding around the trails on the 11th or 12th for sure.

Also all the trails up there are just really bumpy dirt roads no real extreme off roading really. 600-1 and 600-2 are fun to drive if you're in the area already but might be a bit of a let down if you're traveling far just to do those two roads. That's why I always make a camping trip out of it too.

2wd with no locker makes it more fun. 4wd isn't needed at all, just ground clearance at some spots.

285's are on the truck, definitely have rubbing. I believe I left my keyed lug on the driver wheel when I went to test it. About to walk the 2 miles I drove to try to find them damn thing. Already drove it slow and didn't see it. I did find a dollar thou!

Found it! Almost one mile away from the house. At least now I can enjoy the walk home.
