    2017 SR 2.7 5spd, 1100 miles. Engine warm at idle waiting for traffic to pass, maybe 30 seconds or so, pull out in 1st gear and hit the gas just to feel like I got nothing (like out of gas). First time I was parked near an intersection and just turned right to get off the main road, let up on the gas and everything was fine??? Later that day, leaving a stop sign the same thing happened. I was wearing boots and thought maybe my foot hit the brake while pushing the gas also so wrote it off. It did it again today, no boots and I know I didn't hit the brake... what the hell?? Fuel pump? Fuel pump pressure regulator? Very puzzled. Everything else on the truck seems solid and works perfect. Anyone else?

    Electronically controlled transmission. It basically changes shift points, but it's only available on trucks equipped with the automatic transmission.

    Were you turning while accelerating in both cases?

    Could be traction control system reducing throttle to prevent slipping between rear wheels maybe?

    My Tacoma (2015) refuses to let me WOT if I'm leaving a stop sign while turning. ;)
