    Oh, China! You're so silly!
Uh, not sure it's worth it because then you have a Chevette.
FIFY. The logistics make it nigh impossible without significant structural engineering.

Some days I have no patience. I've been looking at kinetic recovery rope so this was my email conversation "king cord" today. Their website has no prices.

Me: Hello, I'm looking at the 1 1/4" rope. Are they for sell?

    King cord: Dear Mr. Cashion

Thank you for your interest in our KingCord products.

Can you please provide us with what type of rope you are looking for and where you live so we may assist you.

    Kind Regards,

    Customer Care

Me: According to your website for King cord you have one kind of recovery rope, so thats the one I'm looking at.... First email said I wanted 1 1/4" so that size... I'll buy online so where I live is irrelevant.
    Thank you

WTF they must not be hungry for sells lol

Exactly the same experience with ARE Caps. They told me that this product does fit on this cap & that this doesn't fit on that. I emailed them about a price for it all last week, still haven't heard.

Web site shows them to be in Canada, so where you live might have quite a large impact on shipping costs. The other possibility is they don't sell direct, so telling them where you live lets them direct you to a distributor in the region.
    http://mibro.com/kingcordrr/

Also the 1-1/4" dia. rope might be too stiff for Tacos (i.e. rope won't stretch enough for the "kinetic" action to work well). The website advises to pick a size corresponding to 2-3x the gross vehicle weight. A Taco with ~6000 lb gross weight matches up with the 7/8" dia. rope with 24,700 lb breaking strength.

Thanks for researching this for me. I agree, but 3 tons is a bit much for a tacoma. Thanks for the maths though it's appreciated. I I've in sand land AZ and 15 buck 2" strap works just fine for pulling out Jeeps. I have other needs for it but it was still awfull sweet of you to look into it for me:thumbsup:. Why not just give me a quote for the rope like I asked for lol wtf. $$$ elsewhere.
