Yeah the OEM leaf springs were bunk. :(

I've seen many a Taco with serious bottom sag driving around town with a topper on back. :(

Too poor to list anything interesting.
I felt bad with just a bed of gear driving behind @SMKYTXN . He must have thought I had my brights on.

I'd look at either the Wheelers 5 leaf pack or the Dakar leaf pack to get the rake back on your truck. I've been running the Dakar leaf pack with the 3rd leaf removed for several months now and I'm happy with it. My truck is a DCSB with a shell and carpet kit and I gained about 2" of lift over the non-tsb 2+1 leaf pack. Also, when I load it up it barely sags now.

    Bodega?

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
Deaver has a U402 leaf pack that is ~3" lift + higher weight rating, worth looking at.

I Added an extra leaf after having a cap for a couple years. It lifted it 2" giving me a rake no more lean too! I like the look

5100's all around with OME 884 at 0. Weathertechs, Carhartt seat covers. BFG KO2's 265/70/17. T4R SEMA wheels. 18% tint on front windows. General Springs HD 4 leaf pack, Leer 100 XR shell.
I had the same issue so upgraded my 883's to 884's and put a general springs HD leaf pack on in the back. got just shy of 2"'s in the front 1.5 in the rear. the springs dont budge with the shell or me on the tailgate and I have a little rake

Sorry man not trying to stalk ya lol. Just had one more question and you're the only person ive seen with these springs. How do they feel, stiff wise, with just campershell and empty bed if you've ever been in that situation. Or have hubb to fender measurements possibly?if not no worries

no worries, glad to help if I can. Im not home with the truck so I dont have measurements but I got 1.5" with the shell on over stock ride height with the shell. I can measure when i get home tomorrow if you need it.

They ride fine with the shell on. i think its very smooth for this truck but Ive never had the shell off since putting it on so cant comment about the ride quality without it and these leafs. They are stout, 3 leafs and an overload. I had the bed loaded with furniture and boxes and a 5x8 enclosed trailer with a bedroom set and there wasnt much if any sagging. They have served me well for my purpose but I dont offroad or do anything that needs a more technical or high end solution for the rear. I was torn between these and the wheelers HD pack. Probably would have done the wheelers if I spent a lot of time offroad.

only complaint from me was an episode of serious squeeking but they have stopped. not sure if it was the lube, the bike tubing the zip ties or the hammer I pounded them with but they quit.

The stock suspensions on these trucks suck.

@pittsnogled that hub to fender measurement would be pretty beneficial to see where id be at in relation to my truck but only when its convenient. All other insight was very helpful too! thanks again
