I planned on regearing it anyways so that won't be the problem , I'll probably take it to one of the guys at Southeast Overland to do it so I don't butcher it

Not so keen on the idea of putting Valvoline. I know long time ago there were some bad reviews over their oil. How many miles on your truck?

Love the quick sand color. My truck is almost just as tall as a 3rd gen. Looks like I'm gonna need more lift.

Well that but another inch on the front. But I'm gonna need new UCA's for that.

No you don't. More lift = less down travel and torn cv boots.

    2" is good

True. I just want the front to be level with the back. Since my cv boots are so old I'm gonna replace them with longer boots.

Truck has rake from factory. When you load up it'll be level...hopefully.

Just putting less than 200 lbs gives me the bro lean. I need to change out my leafs. I kinda like the bro lean look when I'm carrying weight around.

I use the Castrol Transmax in my power steering, but that's cause it is the cheapest name brand out there. I'm on the fence about Redline, it is a boutique oil and if you'll notice a lot of their oils aren't API rated so who knows whats going on there. Valvoline (Ashland) provides solid quality at a good price and people have been liking the addative packages in the Maxlife lines of oils.

Line-X, LED Gauges, Bluetooth Stereo, TracRac, OME 2.5 Lift, Relentless Fab rear bumper, Shrockworks front. Bleh. So much good stuff.
So all I did today was drive it, however I was parked on a slight incline and when I put it in reverse and released the parking break, I heard a noticeable thud, similar to the chop you feel if you drive with the ebrake engaged. It was violent but I only felt it then. Drove it over 200 miles afterwards without any issue today but it got me thinking. I'm positive the ebrake was disengaged before kicking it into reverse. Is this an early telltale sign that there are problems to come (besides regular wear and tear or...)? Is it possible the teeth on the reverse gear binded? Truck has 143k miles though that means nothing depending on driving habits...I always drive carefully
