    Hello I am new here!

I purchased my truck a few weeks ago. Its a 2010 Timberland Mica DCLB 4x4 Auto SR5. Nothing too fancy, but I love it. Has 144,000km. There are a few bugs to work out to get the truck in tip-top shape. After that, the fun really starts. My plan is to build a daily driver friendly, off road capable, overlanding rig... this has always been my dream!

Had the truck out this weekend to see what it can do... was very pleased with it. The truck just seems to do everything I need it too, and is just the right size for me.

Factory mud flaps have GOT TO GO, they get hung up on everything. Found a few good ideas on the forums already (thanks tacoma world).

Things I've done so far (due to ware and tare and neglect from original owner): Rear shocks, leaf springs (recall), struts, swaybar bushings, LBJs, new tires (BFG KO2).

Things left to do: front bearings, transmission flush, diff and t-case oil change, coolant flush a few other minor bits and bobs.

Short term goals: mud flap replacement, soft-topper or camper shell (ideas welcome), rock sliders.

Long term goals: Small lift (likely OME), ARB compressor and rear locker, front and rear bumpers.

Will start a build forum eventually when I get started... for now, ill just be lurking in the shadows to get some ideas.

    Cheers!

Hey gearcruncher, I am currently in the Sudbury area. Though I have lived/worked as for North as Sioux Lookout, which is closer to where you appear to be from (according to the coordinates in your info). Though I don't really consider Sudbury that far North... apparently most people consider it that way. Haha.
