Just remember that having it any where in the truck is considered concealed. When you pick it up, you should carry it home in the bed of the truck.

 

I can manage that no problem. House is about eh...1/2 mile from the store.

 

Makes sense, especially for a carry gun.

sweet my buddy was gonna get one of those but wound up getting a Taurus pt111 cuz its basically the same size and its a double stack so 12+1 and it was $100 less, but I know a few people that carry them and they seem to shoot very well for a smaller gun and S&W you know ha... btw let me know if you need a holster

I actually don't plan to carry it. I know y'all can call me crazy, but the only reasons I am buying are to keep at my house (whenever I move out) and take it in my truck to wherever I happen to be going. I have zero desire to keep the gun actually on me whether in my pocket or pants or whatever.

 

you can carry them unloaded in the truck (I only own revolvers so its a little different for me) but I think the mag and gun are supposed to be separate and both out of reach maybe.

Thanks, I had planned on turning it in to an awesome camping rig with a roof top tent and everything but, I need to pay for a wedding now. So i'll buy another one later and build it, for now I must part with it.

 

yeah its a little fuzzy with revolvers tho since there isn't a mag, its just unloaded or loaded. I guess you could keep the ammo separate then 1.get gun 2. load gun 3 shoot gun right?

 

might think about something like this to keep stuff in you bag from workin its way into the trigger guard and causing an issue (my wife purse carries and has a similar set-up also cuz lip gloss, mascara, ink pens etc)
