    Gentlemen,

When I am under any kind of breaking and I start coming to a stop from about 10 miles down the truck starts shaking in the front end until it comes down to a stop. It feels like if the tires were going over rough road but they are not. This happens every time I break no matter if it is hard or soft. Any ideas? Thanks.

I don't have an answer to your question... but when mine comes to a stop it does a hard/loud shift into first (I'm assuming)... then when taking off it gives a lot of torque with little gas pedal pressure then just stops powering up outta no where by itself.

I'm having the same issue, going to try re-torquing the lugs as another thread suggested and mention it to the dealer before my 5,000 rotation.

Some people have said it stops when they replace their rotors, some when replaced their drums, some tire balance, some driveshaft alignment, some lugs, some crap in the ABS ring. lol FML

Found a thread with some good insight to other things it may be:

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
It's known as the rumble strip issue. It's very common with no known fix. it's not the brakes.

+1 for the rotors. It happened to my truck as well. I have been told by multiple mechanics that it isn't really a safety issue so you don't necessarily have to replace them unless it is too annoying for you.

    -1 for rotors
+1 on rumble strip, no known fix.
Personally I'm thinking its the brake booster the longer I've driven it and think about how it acts

There is a TSB for this issue. When I get time I'll post it up on here.

Really? I got on TIS recently and didn't see anything. I know there was a guy with updated springs but haven't seen any one else get it or any info on them

Warped brake rotors on '16 with 10K miles? Interested to see if the OP hauls much. And this "rumble strip" issue.. wow, all out of the box in a new truck.

Yup, heat up the rotors too much on any vehicle you will warp them. the rumble strip is a little annoying, but that's about it. I would fix it if I can, but won't be trading in the truck over it if it can't be fixed

Thanks TRD, yes well aware of the physics behind rotor warping when heated. And I wouldn't trade a '16 for the rumble issue either, not pushing any 3rd Gen thread shit here. I am generally interested in the TSB or if the OP was towing/hauling a lot during his first 10K miles of ownership. I have a neighbor who has a '16 and brother in law looking at one (both computer illiterate) and I am providing information.

Hell, the post above mine with r1200 states 4K miles and had it when he drove off the lot. Odd.

Mine had "out of round" drums, dealer turned them under warranty no issues since (~6,000 miles ago)

Ya I got ya. if I had seen this forum I wouldn't have got the v6 and maybe had gone with tundra. it's a decent truck but has issues, just trying to stop threads from going to 3rd bashing with common issues with every vehicle

No worries TRD. I understand, I'd get warm too with some of it but now looking at these threads seriously for reasons mention above. I was actually looking at a 2016 Quicksand TRD just before my mint 04 Black popped up and snagged it. Very happy I did and I'm sure you're happy with yours, nice trucks for sure. But this time, actually would like to understand the issue and if TSB is there or dealer will take them back/turn them per Shaun above.

Tundra: man, love those rigs but just too damn big for my needs. This thing is just a toy for me and the kids but those Tundras are beautiful.
