I'll start a "Done dirt cheap" thread when I build mine. In 5 years. When it's paid off and out of warranty lol

Don't be a puss. Dig in that shit. I did that last time and ended up with a toolbox and 31" tires for mods.

By 6500 miles this one was lifted with new tires. Not long after that holes were being drilled in the frame for sliders. Then a bed rack. A year later plate bumper on the front. Radio was replaced 1st year also. Do it! Mod that bitch! I haven't had one issue with getting something fixed while I was under warranty.

I'm on an IT hourly employee type of budget with your typical $500/month Tacoma payment lol, among with all the other expenses of life.

Buy diy stuff. That's what I did. I'm on a paramedic budget. Find a decent welder at a pawn shop and teach yourself.

My trucks only $267 a month though.

I took some basic metalwork classes in HS, 11 years ago, so I can easily hack something together. I really like the RTT style bed rack, but I haul at least 2 kayaks any given weekend, most times I have 4 in there. So the rack, sweet as it is, isn't practical yet in a semi-permanent mount. That also excludes a topper, which is way out of price range unless I pick up a good used one.

Tires are top priority right now. Window tint is second. Fog lights are a close tie with tint.

Chillin' on the couch with my youngest GSP, Willy. I think he may have overheard all the boob talk.

Came that way actually. I have done nothing but upgrade the speakers, AVS window shades, and change the oil in it once since June this year.

Poor guy. He had emergency surgery on his pecker in January....something very rare. Decided to neuter him at the same time.

    That was a $5K vet bill....ouch!

Nope. Got it from the Ford dealer in my home town, owned by the same people who own the Toyota dealer out of the city. That's how I found it, was at Toyota on a Friday and drove a Silverado and a F150 and didn't see what I liked for the money. Tried to walk, they called me an hour later and said they had this beaut at their Ford lot. I went down there Sunday and looked it over, drove it on Monday and talked turkey. Came home with after work on Tuesday.
