I think it also depends where in Nob Hill. We used to live on Girard near Lead and we'd come out to ours or neighbors broken car windows too many times (fiances brother got his moped stolen second day he had it too). But I think we were on the transition zone between sketchy neighborhoods. Especially if you get too close to Gibson.

Glad we moved before all this ART shit, seems like hell over there. I don't see why this project needed to happen either

I can probably rent you a room if you want. My wife and kids move to CA in Dec, I will be here until April waiting for my enlistment to end. You can rent a room from me, then rent my house and I can rent a room from you until I leave! hahaha perfect world....

I live in the Meadow Wood, it is near Costco on Eubank. Real nice neighborhood. Everyone is a scientist or military. It's a 3 bed house, with an office(4th if wanted), 1800 sq st.

10th of Nov? I should be here, no plans to go anywhere yet haha.

House rents in my neighborhood for $1500. If I don't have to pay a property manager I will rent for $1400. Not the cheapest in ABQ, but it's a good spot to live and my neighbors are super nice. 2 car garage and a back yard that are low maintenance. House is low maintenance as well, wood floors except bedrooms, new granet and tile in the kitchen. We love the house!

the art is a beuqacratic pile of shi!t thats going to spend lots of tax money to jack up one of the coolest areas of our city.

I lived just a bit southeast of nob hill in the ridgecrest area, and burglary was fairly prevalent there. The bummer about Albuquerque is that it's a pretty crime ridden city, so you aren't going to get away from it, just gotta protect yourself as much as you can.

Would I still be allowed to participate in this site if I bought a Honda ridgeline??

Get a big dog, best deterrent in the city. It won't stop them if they really want to mess with you, but its enough to make them move onto the next house in most cases.

Hey, I was wrong about the winter closure on this road, sorry. I checked today, and I don't know what I was thinking; the road is not marked as closed in winter. I tried to PM you with this, but your privacy settings would not allow.

Yup. Even a smaller dog that barks when people are around is a decent deterrent, IMO. I put wood in all my window tracks so the windows could not be shoved open, or at least it will slow them down some. Key-only deadbolts on all exterior doors as well (no kids here).

:annoyed:I managed to shave off part of my lower lip this morning in a completely SAF move. Man, do lips bleed! Now I'm walking around work with a Band-Aid over it & look like a dork. :anonymous: I've been shaving for 42 years, and have never done this before. FML.

I'm afraid that if I take off the Band-Aid it will start pouring blood out again.

On the Miata forum, Miata is used as an acronym, meaning Miata Is Always The Answer.

I ended up springing for a tundra. The price was decent and the size is better for us than the tacoma.
