My '84 was bad ass! And it was cheap and easy to raise. I had 35" "Gumbo Mudders" on it 3 days after it left the lot brand new. I was racing dirt bikes back then and did a LOT of traveling. In 26 months it had 120,000 miles on it. I figured it had to be worn out, so I traded it on the '86. It took but a few days to find out that lifting the ifs was gonna be expensive and difficult. There wasn't much on the market for them early on. I never raised it. It also had an appetite for right front tires. 2 years later it got traded on an '88 Chevy that was the worst vehicle I ever owned. And to add insult to injury, a friend bought my '84 from the dealer and put 150,000 MORE miles on it without any real problems. I've regretted getting rid of that truck every since.
