Ehhh not sure i would with you... you know why ;)

Do it! As long as you are pretty much straight and go easy on the throttle you'll be fine. But also make sure you know how to change out tie rods on the trail...

Yes and no.. A-Trac is basically a limited slip for the front end which with our weak IFS is probably enough haha

That's what I've gathered researching IFS & front lockers - keep the wheels straight....

Fortunately I still have a bunch of other stuff to do to the truck before I get to air lockers so that will be a while away but the video was a great illustration how a front locker can really get you out of stuff. Nicely done!

I turn it off the second I feel that I don't need it. Even just putting it in reverse and turning the wheel a bit can bend your tie rod, so you have to be really careful..

    Ohh haha oops.

A locker would still help him

It would but I'd carry a bunch of extra tie rods on the trail

    1. Fix resi hoses on the front (rubbing on the coils) Complete
    2. Gemplers rust converter on the frame. Just normal light surface rust now but I don't want it to get worse. Arrived
    3. Replace skid hardware with grade 8 bolts (something I should have done in the first place )
    4. Replace alternator for safe measure
    5. Replace all tie rods with OEM because my moog's lasted about 2000 miles :(
    6. Alignment
    7. Change front/rear diff oil
    8. Retube/balance rear driveshaft
    9. King hydro bumps in the rear/super bumps up front
    10. Install loner stock inverted shackles that aren't bent
    11. Deep clean interior Complete
    12. Get a flatbed trailer for this (in the spring)
    13. Mount/wire rest of my rock lights
    14. Carrier bearing drop
    15. Axle shims
    16. Tint windows darker
    17. TC bed stiffeners
    18. Front Wheelers super bumps Arrived
Reorganized the list. As of right now im going to run a 33" spare tire on the swing out instead of ordering a new swing out for a few reasons.. 35" spare covers the tail light too much and kinda thinking about a new rear bumper.

My current one doesn't stick out on the sides enough for my liking, not happy with the layout of the swing out for my purposes, and its heavy as fuck.

If I replace it it'll be full custom design that I have in my head and loose a bunch of weight/retain strength.
Also going to looking to plating/reinforcing the frame from the cab back.

No its going to be somewhat custom. The bumper itself will be a lot like the hybrid CBI rear bumper for 3rd gen 4 runners. But add bedside protection and a custom swing out

$120 was with the dimble cut outs to get to the frame holes for high clearance bumpers. Unless we are talking about different fabricators
