Why replace the kings? And have you looked at the total chaos shock relocation kit for the rear? That will help your rear end tremendously

I think he doesn't want to use spacers for this rig to clear the shocks

I have and have thought of it. We will see.

No opposed to it. But not my first choice yet.

Thanks! No trip report yet. Just a photo thread. Report will come though!

You need to run wheel spacer with the TC kit. Other wise the tires will rub the shocks.

Also as for switching, I just like the ads shocks better. Love them. King is great too but just like the ads stuff.

ah, yeah that makes sense. Solo recommended spacers with my kit, since i stuffed 2.5's in the back. rubs just enough to leave black smudges on the bodies. Not really a huge deal.

Yea TC recommends a 1.25" wheel spacer with stock rims and tire size. I'm getting ray10s that have a tad less then stock bs and I have 1.5" spacer. So it's doable I think. I'm not opposed to them. Obviously. Had them on Frank since 2010.

You run the solo kit? I've looked at that one too. Looks nice. Gonna make something like that for frankenstein to fit 14s. But I'll poke up into the bed a touch. Would like 2.5s on Frank but think 2s on Igor will be enough.

Yep, there's a lot more space to go up. Probably could have fit 12's at least if you can get the shock far enough away from the frame.

Damn body's looks long. You didn't loose any up travel?

Good to hear. Id planned on cutting a slot in the wheel wells and having the tubing pop up through there just a bit. Seemed like 14s would be do able. Then hydo bumps.

    You install that yourself?

i lost maybe 3/4 of an inch. you can see the aluminum puck we used to extend the bump stop in the other picture i threw up. With the deavers and kings i gained both up and down travel, so no loss really. They're 2x5x10's, and the shaft extends down pretty low. I can't weld, so my buddy did that, but we did all the cycling etc ourselves. I used the factory shock mounts and hardware for limit strap mounts.

Looks good. I'll probably run 2.0 on Igor. With resis should be fine. I need to go fast! :burnrubber:

Frank will get 2.5s but I'll have miles of space compared to you. I'm putting in a t100 axle so 3" wider per side. Haha so that'll help.

Checked out your build too. Looks nice! Like the reg cab

yea, keeping it stock width without spacers gives me a hefty space penalty haha. I needed the extra capacity of the 2.5's, so i just stuffed em in.
