Just a thought for you, Tacofister. Seeing you have a truck, but can't afford to put gas in it. Maybe you could find a ride along companion that mabe doesn't have a reliable vehicle, but has money to go and would like too. That way it works out for the both of you! I just personally think asking for handouts is loserville stuff and I don't like picturing my fellow Taco buds in that way!

What size spare do you have? Will the 265/75 fit underneath where the stock 265/70 spare is?

 

No con! It will give more clearance for tires not to rub. All pro!

 

Thanks, wanted to confirm that I would still be able to have the spare if I go up a size and it will fit under the truck.

 

The ribbon is a factory installed $749 option and cannot be removed.

No sir, Brandon from Avid Offroad did it for me after work. needed to make some room before I install the lift on Saturday. I'm putting a big tire in there so the cmc is mandatory. 285/75 17

 

I have 285 70 17, 6"lift, I clear but not buy much at full turn if I hit a curb I rub when it flexes. If I took off the spacers, I would probably clear better. Also thinking I might go to a 75 next time, so I want more clearance. How much extra clearance do you think it gave you, and what did they charge, if you don't mind me asking.

 

Yeah I'm just running an icon stage 6 lift, so roughly 3", which is why the cmc was definitely needed! but when it's all said and done, you get probably a little over an inch of added clearance. He charged me 100$ out the door.

 

Wow, that's a good price . I was estimated a couple hundred.
