I have installed the OME3-05-AL kit on my 2007 xcab tacoma 4x4 with 285/75R16. I am told that my caster settings are to low at 0.4, specs are 1.1 - 2.6 degrees. Is there any mod or adapter that i need to get my truck into alignment specs?

    Thanks

    Spencer

    getting there....
a set of total chaos uca's will do nicely for you. they are made to bring alignment specs back in on lifted trucks. they are pricey, but definitely worth it.

I dont see how they are adjustable in the pics. Stamped steel, no Uniball, Non greasable. To me that makes spending an extra $200.00 a no brainer.

    A few bolts are different.
Look at the left A-arm in the top pic. it looks like the bolt where the knuckle is tightened has adjustment (imo). On a budget they could get the job done!

Actually, neither of those arms are "adjustable". The TC are are "adjusted" in the way they are built to correct the caster issue, but they are not "adjustable" by the user/purchaser. The only ones that are "adjustable" are the ones made by Icon Vehicle Dynamics. Now those are nice arms.... They come from Icon "adjusted" to correct the caster, but if you so desire, you can "adjust" them even further..... They were perfect for me when I got them so I have not messed with them to "adjust" them any further. I am sure the Light Racing ones are the same as the Total Chaos ones and are just "adjusted" in the way they are built. Camburg are the only ones that are not "adjusted", they are a exact copy of the factory arms geometry but with the uniball.

If you want the best of the best.....go here.

Anybody have any experience or heard anything about All Pro's UCAs? They look a lot like the Total Chaos UCAs but only run $499. Icon's are way out of my price range given other mod choices. All-Pro Off Road's Upper A-Arm kit is constructed of 4130 Chromoly material. These arms are TIG welded, not MIG welded like competing brands. TIG welding keeps the heat between the weld and base, providing superior strength without weakening the surrounding material. A top quality, teflon-lined 1" uni-ball provides maximum articulation for the Upper A-Arm without binding up like the factory ball joint. These arms are designed to correct suspension geometry on lifted applications, and now have zerk fittings for easy bushing lubrication. Easy bolt-on installation with all hardware & Prothane bushings included.

All Pro UCA's are junk. They use a 5th rate uniball, and they are noisy as hell. :)

Did you have a set or one of your buddies? How exactly do you rate the uniball? Not defending their stuff as I'm inclined to buy the TC UCAs.

I cant remember how the Uniballs are ratted, but the All Pro ones are made in China. They are a poor quality. One of the guys on TTORA had All Pro OCA's and was so unhappy with them, he went back to the stock UCA's. I gave him mine. :) They are noisy, and the uniball wears out early. My TC's have been noise free, and smooth for 12,000 miles.
