    Same but really hear with the windows up, radio off low rpms... went to shell and filled up premium and put a bottle of cleaner in it ... hopefully that'll help!

    Sounds like detonation. The engine makes the most noise while accelerating at low rpm and goes away at higher RPM and/or reduced throttle --> textbook sound of detonation

    Fill up with the highest octane available and the noise will most likely go away.

    Detonation can destroy an engine. If you like your truck, resolve the issue asap.

    Exactley! I thought it could be an exhaust leak??? Ticks under load/acceleration, but as soon as I let off it goes away! ... why do others run regular fuel and they don't have this issue???
