White Delight Solid Axle Swap

Today I reamed out The bumper bolt holes to fit size 9/16 grade 8 bolts 1 1/2" long I believe. Been talking to Billy over at Brute Force Fab, just so you guys know he's a rad dude and his truck is so nuts Anyways he's been helping me out a little over the phone. We decided I needed bigger bolts for the bumper... So it don't go rippen off when I winch with it I found the drill bit at a local hardware store. Pricy bit for 45 bucks but it did the job. Just gotta paint, weld, and mount that puppy!

 

But will it be able to run over curbs at the mall?

Looks good, are you setting everything up at full bump?

 

I believe I'm about 5 inches down from bump at ride height. I want a good ride for when I want to go Baja through the desert. I haven't flexed it yet though.

No I'm not sure what to do about that cat but I will make sure it all gets covered with some serious pictures. I still got a bunch of work but it's close!

So in the last day or two I finished up the front bumper mounts. Tacked the bolts in place and painted. I also mounted the old 4 wheel drive module deal via drill and tap metric #8 after I cut off the little sleeve slider thingey off lol The transfer case is completely stock, I added a front range off-road t-case cross member. It will become the new tranny cross member. I had to fab the mounts to the frame, it didn't fit quite perfect like I would have hoped. Then I jacked the halos up somethin fierce. Not sure what happened but I ain't worried right now huge thanks to Kevin Bradley on Instagram for helping me out with all this

Today I worked most the day on the rear with a good buddy just tearing everything out. started mounting the new leafs. He brought his bender so we could make a cross member for the coil over buckets.
