gonna mount my maglite on the pillar cover that kinda divides the front and rear seats in the double cab....the part on the drivers side that houses the seat belt and all. any ideas on how to remove it, or get it loose even?? its about the best spot in the dc that i have found to mount it too.....convenient and right there where i can grab it when needed!! thanks for the input!!:)

anyone have any ideas?? i could just drill the holes and rivet the mounts on, but i'd rather use the small screws and washers/nuts like i had it mounted in my 06.

I haven't taken the pillar cover off so I can't help you with that. However, I can suggest that you think about mounting it on the side of your drivers seat. That's where mine is and it works great. I assume that you can do that on an '04...

thats the reason i picked the pillar to mount the light....cause on the 04 there isnt really room between the seat and the door like on the 05 and up.

On my '03 DC I have my mag light between the seat and the door, ..no problem!
