    LED bulbs in halogen housings (including the current gen projector housings) are a bad idea in general. I have looked and looked and have come to the conclusion that unless you're going for a particular aesthetic, LED bulbs will always be functionally worse than halogen ones.

    I went to LEDs for my fog lights. They are great, more light for the bulb size, a bit pricy but got them on clearance. I also have LEDs for offroad use. I have no intention to go to LED replacement headlights for driving around town.

    No experience with those exact LEDs, though solid state cooling is definitely the way to go. However there is so much more to the equation than lumen output, even if 3rd gen projectors will maintain the cutoff.

    I hope you mean you didn't stuff LEDs in your factory reflector fogs and are blinding everyone with your glare because the reflector design is incompatible. Read the thread I posted above to see why this is an awful idea. You need a full fog led retrofit like that from TRS if you want to run LED fogs.
