I actually have some pry bars in my recovery box. :D I can help you with the driveshaft, I sell used auto parts. Mine was a bit harder to find though being a double cab long bed but I got one.

All fluids, common size hand tools . Pry bars, dead blow hammer , spare parts , brake lines tie rod ends , rear axle shaft , electrical wire fuses etc . Zip ties air filter spark plugs multi meter .
I tend to carry a lot of stuff because it gets really expensive when you are 3 hours from home and you break something. Been there done that .

Did anyone contact the DEP to see if they had the trails opened. Some guy recently had his truck roll over onto him and he died. But it would suck to get everyone up there to find it all blocked off.

Yes we are good to go. I called last week and confirmed that it is open. There was a ban from July-October, but it has been re-opened.

Just gonna leave this here again. I'll post it again tomorrow night too.

Alright everyone, here's the "official" post for a day of wheelin' Sunday 11/6 @ Nepaug State Forest

    Where
    : Nepaug State Forest, Connecticut
    When: Sunday 11/6
Who: see below. We are looking at 16-20 rigs on the trail which is absolutely awesome. Pumped we got this together so quick. Please let me know if anyone's attendance changes so we don't wait up for anyone that's not coming.
Meeting spot: 96 Powder Mill Road, Collinsville, CT 06019 (gravel lot next to soccer fields/pond)
Meeting time: 9:30-10:00am. We will start the trails at 10:00am.
Trail guide/plan: see below map with a possible route that I planned out. I'm sure we will find more stuff along the way and/or want to re-do certain sections we decide are awesome.
Other: I plan on packing a cooler with water and food so we don't have to leave the forest for lunch. We can probably find an area to pull off the trail and chill out and eat whenever we feel like it.
