Hi, I'm looking for a new front plate bumper with the following features:

    - 2x recovery points
    - 3 hoops design (full protection for wood trail)
    - Notches for high-jack
    - Sticking out to protect against animal strike

Any advice who sell a bumper with those upper features ?

ARB was a solid option but no recovery points
Relentless does make nice products at good price but it doesn’t stick-out enough to stop animal strike.
Demello is my current preferred design but no notch for high-jack.

From an older thread, I remember a device that can be bolted to the high jack and attached to a recovery point. This would allow me to purchase the Demello bumper. Any idea who make this adaptor ?

    thanks, Martin

I was going to say as I read your description it sounded like you wanted a demello bumper! I know demello can customize a lot of stuff, have you tried to call them and see if they could add some sort of notch for the bumper? It seems they tend to use a general template with their bumpers, but Im sure they could add something if you preferred.

How far does it have to stick out to protect from animal strikes? The relentless and Demello bumpers look like they stick out a similar amount to me.

You can use the Hi-Lift Lift-Mate or the chain/box attachment that comes with the Hi-Lift recovery kit to attach to a D-ring. No cutout needed.

    Or just use a sling.

It's only by looking at various pictures, I'm living in Canada (near Montreal) and we don't see those bumper frequently here ! I'm on the impression the Demello stick one inch more. I though it will help to slow down the impact. I rode post saying the Demello have less approach angle when compare to the Relentless due to the farther sticking out. I'm doing more wood trail than rock crawling. For this purpose the ARB would have been perfect.

    I like that idea.

I know both are well secured to the frame with added braces.
I prefer the demello 3 hoops look if compare with the Relentless 3 hoops.

I'm looking at them for my skids.

    Question
Is the Pelfreybilt bumper have added braces to the frame as Demello and Relentless ?
What is the sheet metal thickness ?

I found the bumper side are little bit small ... I need to look for more Pelfreybilt bumper pictures this evening.

They have a bracket at the bottom. You'd have to check out their thread where people have posted various pictures.

@Socalduckslayer knows all the tech specs behind the metal thickness.
