Mine's an indoor/outdoor who thinks he's a dog. Comes running when you call, plays fetch with a rubber superball, sticks his head into the shower to lick the walls, goes to the bathroom outside, and drinks out of the toilet. :der:

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
    Wow 4 cats! No thanks

Although I grew up having 2 cats almost my whole life and they were fine I have always been more of a dog person. Rachel and I have had 3 cats and all of them were problems. One got killed by my neighbors car (they never confessed to it but another neighbor saw it), another one scratched everything and then one day he just ran away and the last one we had to get rid of because it was spraying all over the place even after it was fixed. I'm done with cats

    That cat sounds cool

He's very unusual. But, it makes him a ridiculously easy cat to live with. I always hated cleaning out litterboxes as a kid, lol.
The downside of his thinking that he's a dog is that he isn't much of a mouser. He's more than happy to catch them, but he just plays with them until he gets bored and then he lets them go.

I was hoping you would tell me about some sweet deal you got! I'm still contemplating it. $225 is a lot more than i was looking to spend.

Yep. I've actually found mice dead on my kitchen floor without a scratch on them before, and I can only guess that they died of a massive panicked heart attack, lol.

You have to meet Ozzy then. Loves playing fetch with the toy mice and hides them himself when the human is busy..I've found them in my coat pocket many a time.

He is a good mouser as well though, fortunately.

Very talkative..and too smart for his own good.

My mom has cats that carry the mouse to the bath tub because they found out it can't escape as the sides are too slick. Then they poke at it until it dies and look confused when it stops moving.

Was just passin' thru and thought I'd pay tribute to a cat I had years ago, lived to 18.
Sorry, no pics. Black with a little white on his chest and white paws, known as Sneakers
Would bat the front door handle with it's paw to go out and tap/scratch the slider glass to come in.
Would run down the hall and across the foot of the bed, if he wanted out in the middle of the night.
2 or 3 times if I didn't get up or until I lifted my leg, then he'd wait til morning.
Sat in the front yard as an large inquisitive dog approached, opened the dog's nose, but never stood up.
Took the slider screen out. to go after a dog on the deck, one of three dogs I saw it ride out of the yard.
Never clawed anything in the house and never "went " in the house.
Hadn't thought about him for a while.
Gonna leave now and get melancholy.

Mine have a big toy stash under the bed and a couple times each day they pull one out and play with it for a while then drop it in one of my shoes. When I find them I toss them on the bed and within a few minutes they're back in the stash.

2 indoor cats. Brothers from the same litter. A black one that talks all the time but is otherwise calm, and a gold one that's the "Adventure Kitty." This afternoon I was on a stepladder attempting to fix my broken attic stairs and "AK" climbed the ladder, my back, and the top section of the attic stairs. He then proceeded to burrow around in the insulation, necessitating a lot of clean up (of both he and I).

Always had both cats and dogs until we down-sized to a much smaller house with a tiny yard. Since we only like large dogs we had to become cats-only.

Speaking of cats being heartless: I saw a study a while ago where they compared what happened when cat and dog owners dropped dead in the house and no one found them right away. Dogs wait an average of 3 days to chow down, but cats start nibbling in like 2 hours while they still have food in their bowls.
