I just ordered a cap the other day too, a leer 100 xl with sport package. I think your cap looks good man, it matches your truck well and even more important it's practical. Good choice.

I could really use one but I think it makes the truck looks like carp so I go without.

I think it looks too much like a large SUV with it.

Before I had a truck I always thought that caps was for old people. Now that I have a truck I like the way they look. Not only do they look good but for those of us that have dogs (I think almost everyone does) there really isn't any other good way to transport them if they have been playing in the mud all day. Cap looks great.... Ignore what she said....

I bought a Century as well. How is your's mounted? I am not entirely happy with the mounting on mine. Did they remove your bed rails or use clamps in the rails?

I just had one installed yesterday, they should have used a G-120 kit that uses your rail system.

Do you have any pics of the clamps? The guy I bought from was a kid who I don't think knew what he was doing. I had ordered from one guy but when I went to pick it up he had sold the business to this young inexperienced guy. He ground down some clamps and put them in the rail but doesn't look secure to me.

    back to bone stock.
i have thought about selling mine. bought it used with it installed. the PO took it on/off a few times, and i believe the seal leaks a bit now. when the weather clears, i am climbing in, and having the wife hose it down, while i look for leaks.

i like it for roadtrips, and camping/hunting stuff. but i like a trucks ability to be filled with yard debris, and stuff. a cap limits that. and i have to move a bunch of streetbikes out of my garage. cap will need to come off too.

used prices seem low, which makes selling it a crap option. but mine is silver. LOTS of silver access cabs.

I like them a lot. Very functional. If I didn't carry an atv a lot, I'd have one in a sec!

The truck cap is a essential component to me. I felt very weird driving mine around for the couple of months it took to get one installed. And I think tacomas particularly look great with shells....

yours doesnt use your bed rail system to install????? Mine did!!! If they drilled your bed or did any damage i would be going back and telling them to give you the right cap for your truck and fix any damage which may have happened!! They should use the bed rail system!! That makes it quick to remove!!! Only five minutes!!!

well i installed mine... and i used the bed rail system... it only came with four brackets for it so i bought another four so i could add two in the front and have three running down each side of the truck!! I dont want it to go anywhere!!! How was yours installed!!

    +1

I will get one for my truck, to sleep in and keep my snowboarding gear secure.

I plan on removing it in the summer though when not in the trails

Exactly why I went with a mid-rise cap. Now I just look like an old man. ;)
